Christian advises on the drafting and negotiating of commercial arrangements of all kinds with an emphasis on agency and distributorship arrangements and contracts for the bioenergy sector. He also has international experience of commercial cross border transactions, international jurisdictional issues and investment with particular view to the German and the UK market.
Christian is dual qualified as he is both a German Rechtsanwalt (German qualified solicitor) and a Solicitor for England & Wales. He studied law in his home city of Munich, specialising in European and International Law. Part of his traineeship he spent in Milan before qualifying as Rechtsanwalt in 2001. Christian joined Geldards in 2007 and qualified as a Solicitor in June 2010.
He has several years of legal practice in intellectual property litigations, with a focus on patent, trademark and copyright law and holds a PhD in law. His thesis provided a comparative on Italian and German law of unfair competition. Christian also holds a specialist qualification in intellectual property law (Fachanwalt für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz).
Christian is fluent in English, Italian and German.
