David specialises in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing and restructurings and has led on a wide range of complex transactions, including cross-border deals. He also provides 'strategic general counsel' advice to a range of entrepreneurs and private businesses.
A graduate of Durham University, David trained in the City qualifying in 1987. He spent six years as a qualified lawyer with Ashurst, before moving to Nottingham in 1994, and joined Geldards in 2004.
David is a keen supporter of the arts in the East Midlands and is vice chair of Nottingham Playhouse and Nottingham Contemporary. He is also governor of the Nottingham University Samworth Academy. |
