Employers across all sectors receive claims for damages for personal injury as a result of alleged employer negligence and/or breach of statutory duty. Our Claims Management Team has many years experience of defending such claims on behalf of self insured corporations, insurers and public bodies.

Our objective is to reduce our clients’ total claims costs by reducing claim life spans. We do this by working closely with our clients and by undertaking early and (where appropriate) extensive investigations to amass the best possible evidence.

We are always mindful of a claim’s potential impact on the wider workforce and the organisation as a whole. When necessary, we will involve other practice areas to ensure that our clients receive the best possible advice on related areas such as employment and health and safety issues.

As well as responding to claims, we offer our clients proactive training on how to improve their risk management processes in order to minimise the risk of future claims and provide regular updates on current developments.
