Geldards advise Tustain Motors on Latest Vauxhall Acquisition

Geldards have advised Tustain Motors Limited on its third Vauxhall dealership acquisition this year.

Tustain Motors latest purchase of the Berwick Upon Tweed Vauxhall Dealership follows the purchase of two Vauxhall Dealerships in Ashington earlier this year.

The business is actively looking to purchase other dealerships as part of its wider strategy to acquire and improve motor retail sites across the North and Midlands.

Brian Baxter, Managing Director of Tustain Motors said “We are delighted to bring this previously family owned business based in Berwick upon Tweed into the Tustain group. We’re already gaining a great reputation in the North-East and despite the challenging economic climate, we are optimistic about the continued expansion of the business.”

Brian Baxter continues “Since we opened our doors in March, we have increased sales by 35% compared to last year’s figures. The team is well motivated and excited about our projections for growth. We are on target with our ambitious plans which aim to build the group to 10 – 15 franchised dealerships in the next few years."

Geldards' Head of Corporate in the Midlands, Andrew Borkowski led the deal. He was assisted by Geldards Associate, Rachel Bennett who said "Tustain are a great client to work with - they know their sector inside out and have the drive and ambition required in this tough market.”
