We are seeking a motivated Knowledge Management Assistant to join us at our Cardiff office.

The successful candidate will provide legal and administrative support to Information Services Manager, the Head of Knowledge Management and our team of Professional Support Lawyers.

The main responsibilities include; distributing journal and regular newspaper reviews; support and undertake research on case law and legislation; supporting business development activities; drafting company and industry briefing documents; assisting with the preparation of tender submissions; and any other legal and admin tasks required by the team.

The ideal applicant should have excellent communication and organisational skills; have the ability to work on their own initiative and have an ability to cope with a high workload, under pressure. You will be computer literate and a Law degree or legal background is desirable.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Corporate team in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support to a busy Corporate team.

The role will involve secretarial duties with an emphasis on audio typing via the digital dictation system. Tasks will include processing corporate forms (e.g. Companies House, Inland Revenue), producing letters, emails and other correspondence, assisting with billing and handling client and third party enquiries.

Candidates must possess previous relevant experience. Accurate typing skills, document management skills and the ability to use a digital dictation system are essential. PR & Communications Administrator


Geldards LLP is a leading Regional Commercial Law Firm with offices in Nottingham, Derby and Cardiff. We are seeking to recruit a PR & Communications Administrator within the Business Development and Marketing Team in our East Midlands Offices.

As PR & Communications Administrator you will be responsible for the day to day development and distribution of external and internal communications including press releases, intranet and supporting digital content.

Although based in the East Midlands, the role will cover all of the Geldards offices in England and Wales meaning the successful candidate will have to build and maintain a high profile across all offices and build strong relationships to ensure a proactive approach to content generation is developed.

As well as taking responsibility for identifying and generating internal and external communication opportunities, the successful candidate will work closely with web & digital colleagues in the development and distribution of digital content including web and social media channels.

The successful candidate will be part of a marketing team that take on a wide range of marketing and business development activities in a professional services environment. Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Create, target and distribute press releases to traditional, online / digital and other media outlets.
  • Work closely with Partners and internal teams to identify and plan appropriate press opportunities ensuring rapid distribution of approved releases occurs.
  • Identify, develop and publish appropriate internal communications.
  • Monitor and distribute all press and online coverage using appropriate PR software and tools.
  • Build and maintain media/journalist relationships within trade, business and regional publications.
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development & Marketing to create bespoke PR and media plans and be responsible for their implementation.
  • Liaise with external agencies to identify and deliver suitable press releases.
  • Work with web & digital colleagues to plan and distribute campaigns, briefings and alerts.
  • Undertake a range of other activities to support the wider marketing of the firm including supporting events.


  • A PR executive with experience of developing and delivering a range of content including press releases and internal communications.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written English capability.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • IT literate with experience of MS applications, web and social media channels.
  • Wider experience in marketing activity would be desirable.
  • Self-motivated, eager to develop, team-player.

IT Developer – IT


We are currently recruiting for an IT Developer to join our IT team at the Cardiff office on a fixed term basis of 1 year.

The role of the IT Development team is to design, develop, and implement software solutions that deliver functionality prescribed by the business needs of the company. Working with all levels of staff to support, maintain, develop and update all internal IT developed systems and focusing on specific projects.

The successful candidate will have high level programming and related technical skills, specifically c#.NET, IIS, & all MS Office tools. In addition, the successful candidates should have working knowledge of SQL Server, Team Foundation Server, relational database systems, storyboarding or prototyping tools such as Balsamiq and an understanding of Scrum and Agile programming methodologies. A knowledge of developing case or matter management systems in tools like K2 or VisualFiles will be preferable, along with knowledge of SharePoint, MVC, WPF, Linq to SQL and VSTO add-ins.

The successful candidates should have logical approach to problem solving, strong analytical and communications skills.
