BEN JOHNSON



Ben is a member of the Executive as Head of Best Practice & Risk with responsibility for the Firm’s quality, compliance and risk.

With over 20 years’ experience of corporate finance under his belt, Ben has now joined the Executive as Head of Best Practice & Risk with responsibility for the Firm’s quality, compliance and risk functions acting as both Compliance Officer for Legal Practice and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Ben was born in Bristol and graduated from Nottingham University in 1985. Having spent his early years as a corporate lawyer acting on both public market and private equity funding, he moved back to Nottingham with his wife and family in 1998 continuing that work and joining Geldards in 2004.

Away from the office Ben runs a Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award scheme for a local group catering for over 150 participants and is training (when DofE permits) to get his community canal boat skippers licence.
