Bethan heads up the Public Sector Team in Wales and specialises in competition law, including State aid and public procurement. Bethan also has background specialisms in company law, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, knowledge which is invaluable when advising on the contractual and funding structures of infrastructure and regeneration projects.

Bethan has highly developed research skills and writing and drafting skills, together with a well-honed eye for detail and an enthusiasm and aptitude for the most technically demanding areas of the law.

Bethan graduated from Jesus College, Oxford with a double first class law degree. Her main pastimes include gardening, particularly ‘grow your own’, cookery and reading. Bethan is also a very keen amateur pianist and violinist, and is a member of Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra.
