Bethan deals with a range of matters including governance, incorporation, mergers and transfers, re-organisation and dissolution, registration with the Charity Commission, compliance, trustee duties and trading matters.

She also advises on governance structures including traditional charitable trusts, companies limited by guarantee and shares, community interest companies, community benefit societies and Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs).

As part of the wider Charities & Social Enterprise Team, Bethan also works on matters such as Community Asset Transfers, mergers and the creation of group structures.

Bethan provides specialist charity law advice to a range of clients from new start-ups to some of the largest not-for-profit organisations in the country. These include organisations working in the fields of art and culture, education, fire safety, community regeneration, youth and age, sport and health.

Bethan also delivers training and workshops to charity trustees on the key issues affecting charitable organisations to assist them to proactively manage the challenges they face.
