With over 21 years’ experience, Claire works with clients across Wales advising on and implementing effective strategies to pass on and protect wealth through a carefully considered approach to lifetime gifts and appropriately tailored wills and trusts.

Claire works particularly with business owners, tailoring their personal planning to make sure the control and the benefit of their interest in the business will ultimately pass to the right people and that appropriate shareholder or partnership provision is in place.

As a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, Claire is also recognised for her knowledge of the legal issues affecting those in later life and those who lack capacity. She is approved by the charities Mencap, SCOPE and the National Autistic Society, working with families concerned about making appropriate will and trust provision for a beneficiary with a disability.

As well as working with the firm’s many longstanding private clients, often across multiple generations of the same family, clients are regularly referred to Claire by other professionals such as tax accountants and financial advisers ensuring a joined up approach to the individual’s personal and financial planning.

“I have worked with Claire for over a decade and value her technical expertise, wealth of experience and the easy manner in which she relaxes clients. She deals with any queries very promptly, and is always willing to give her time in discussing client issues. Most importantly my clients like her and understand the matters she discusses with them – not easy in ever an increasingly complex world. This ensures that good advice is acted upon by clients rather than put back in the drawer until ‘I have more time’.
