DAN GREATOREX



Dan is a pragmatic and approachable commercial contracts lawyer, praised for understanding his clients’ businesses and working closely with them to achieve their objectives.

He joined Geldards in March 2015 after graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a First Class Honours Degree in Law and went on to qualify into the Commercial Services team in April 2019.

Dan advises clients on a wide range of commercial matters including compliance with data protection laws, terms of supply and purchase, website documentation, non-disclosure agreements, distribution agreements and franchising agreements.

This work includes working alongside clients on a number of high-value private and publicly financed projects in areas such as technology, intellectual property, transport and energy.

Outside of work, Dan is most likely planning events through his involvement with the firm’s Midlands Sports and Social Committee and the inTOUCH Midlands networking group. He is also a mentor of the University of Derby mentoring scheme where he works with university students to help them enter the legal industry.
