Ed’s particular area of specialism falls into three broad categories. First, helping portfolio clients with their estate management and the protection of their assets in sectors such as retail, leisure retail, industrial, utilities, public sector and marine.

Secondly, in resolving isolated disputes for owner-occupiers, landowners, developers, commercial landlords or tenants. These can include dilapidations disputes at the end of the lease; problems arising from property related transactions including professional negligence and enforcement of covenants or obligations; disputes arising either from development related or occupational issues due to nuisance, negligence, trespass and easement/access disputes.

Thirdly, Ed has vast expertise in advising utility companies and, in particular, on all property related issues arising in the water industry including the protection of assets and infrastructure either using common law remedies or under the Water Industry Act 1991. Ed’s experience also extends to advice to electricity companies in managing their portfolio and assets.

"The advice given by Ed and the rest of the Property Litigation team is always practical with the needs of the client at the forefront. They have considerable specialist knowledge and experience in the field of Property Litigation and always strive for the very best outcome for their clients."
