Fiona specialises in more complex medium to high net worth financial cases (including those involving businesses, inherited assets, farms and family owned or controlled assets/trusts), pre-nuptial agreements and same sex marriage/ civil partnership breakdowns.

Fiona is a Resolution Accredited Specialist Family Lawyer as well as a Resolution Accredited Mediator, a Practitioner Member of the Law Society's Family Mediation Panel, a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She is also an experienced Deputy District Judge with a Private Family ticket enabling her to hear Private Law Family cases.

Active locally on various family law related committees, Fiona chairs the Derby and District Law Society Family Law Committee and also the Derby Collaborative Law Group.

Known for her professional and pragmatic approach Fiona is proud of having been on a number of occasions recommended (and on one occasion being retained on a subsequent marriage breakdown) by those against whom she acted for previous matrimonial clients.
