One of the University of Derby’s highest achieving law students have been recognised with special award by Geldards.
Jessica Chapman studied law at the university over the past three years and graduated with her classmates in a special ceremony at the Derby Arena on Pride Park this week.

Michelle Craven-Faulkner, a Partner in Geldards’ commercial team, presented Jessica Chapman with the award for receiving the highest marks in Commercial Law.
Michelle explained: “The firm is committed to helping nurture the next generation of legal talent and we hope that these awards provide inspiration to their recipients to go on and have the long and successful legal careers of which we are sure that they are capable.”

Along with the award, Jessica has also received the opportunity to join Geldards’ Commercial Law Team on a work placement to shadow a lawyer.
