Law firm Geldards LLP are welcoming the arrival of Carys Taylor to join their national Infrastructure and Construction team as a Consultant. Carys brings with her over 18 years’ worth of expertise and experience to further enhance and expand the team.
Carys, who has been described as a ‘safe pair of hands’ by Chambers & Partners, has previously worked and advised on a wide range of recognised projects both in the private and public sectors. She has advised a number of clients in public procurement and frameworks alongside tendering specialist contracts such as waste management and schools.
Her experience in the public sector having worked as a Senior Projects Solicitor for Cardiff Council led her to working for Ceredigion County Council where she was the legal advisor on the authority’s Corporate Project Panel Group and also advised public authorities on regional and collaborative projects.
Carys’ experience extends beyond the UK, she has worked across the globe including as a construction solicitor in Sydney, Australia. Her interest in construction stems from working as a Contracts Advisor on the Jubilee Line Extension Project.
