EOT Roundtable event – incentivising senior staff

Our next EOT Roundtable event in Cardiff will take place on Wednesday 12th February and will concentrate on incentivising senior staff.

An EO business may have difficulties in attracting senior staff as there is no “exit” or management buyout which can provide a payment subject to capital gains tax rather than the higher rates of income tax.

This Roundtable event will explore how EO businesses can incentivise their senior employees including:

• Can an EO business incentivise selected employees?
• What is attractive to senior employees in terms of motivation and rewards?
• What is the impact of the consideration payment to the sellers?
• Can share options be used and what are some of the pitfalls?
• What could work for your business?

We will be joined by:

• share valuation experts from Azets, and
• Darryl Bates-Brownsword from Succession Plus to input into linking the incentives to growing the business

Registration is from 9am for a 9:30am start with departure by 11:30am. The event will be free to attend, although places will be limited initially to two persons per company.
