Leading Real Estate Lawyer Joins Geldards Law Firm
Hélène Maillet-Vioud, a well-known and highly respected commercial property lawyer, has joined the law firm’s Nottingham real estate team as a Partner.
Hélène has worked in the legal industry for over 15 years and has advised a wide range of local, regional, national and international clients on all aspects of real estate law.
Hélène has particular experience in the public sector, having advised a number of clients including, Countryside Council for Wales, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Leicestershire County Council and Melton Borough Council. She has also worked with Derby Hospitals Foundation Trust in connection with its development of the Manor Kingsway Hospital site in Derby, and also assisted with its preparations for the sale of the site of the former Derby Royal Infirmary.
Hélène also has expertise in the retail sector, having previously advised a national leisure retailer in relation to its property portfolio.
Hélène trained as a solicitor in Grimsby before moving to Nottingham in 2005. She has worked for two other Midlands law firms before joining Geldards.
On her arrival at Geldards, Hélène said:
