Public Sector England - Property Law Update November 2022
For our Public Sector England webinar on Thursday 3rd November we were joined by our Property Dispute Resolution Team who provided a bitesize session discussing recent updates in Property Law including:
- 1954 Act Lease renewals – Valuation of rent on renewal, rent-free periods and pandemic clauses
- Update on remedies available for landlord for default on the terms of the lease
Withdrawal of notices - Tenants’ arguments in relation to non-payment of pandemic rent; and
- A brief update on The Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016
