Jamie’s real estate expertise encompasses dealing with compulsory purchase, development, investment, landlord and tenant, regeneration and specialist high volume property services for private and public sector clients.
Since leaving Hogan Lovells in 1995 to join Geldards, Jamie has led the Nottingham property practice and now heads up the largest team in the firm.
His expertise and market reputation made him the first choice for Miller Birch to bring on board to hammer out the detail regarding the Trinity House development in Nottingham, the landmark office HQ which is now home to E.ON and was, at the time, the largest project of its kind outside London.
Jamie’s experience of public/private sector collaborations makes him equally adept advising public sector bodies such as Derbyshire County Council, for whom he’s acted as lead partner for the Markham Vale regeneration scheme, Derbyshire’s largest ever regeneration project, since its inception.
In addition to acting on top profile, complex redevelopments, Jamie leads a 40 strong team specialising in high volume (3,000 plus cases), time critical property transactions for electricity and gas distribution and telecoms companies.
