Jamie has specialised in development and regeneration work since joining Geldards in 1996 and has acted on some of the region’s most notable schemes.

Jamie has unrivalled expertise of acting for private sector developers and public sector bodies and, over the years, has advised on numerous development projects at Pride Park, Derby and ng2 Business Park, Nottingham.

He led the legals for Miller Birch on the Trinity House redevelopment in Nottingham, which is widely regarded as being one of the most ambitious and successful examples of a private/public sector partnership model. Jamie’s also lead partner for Derbyshire County Council’s Markham Vale regeneration scheme – Derbyshire’s largest ever – on which he’s advised the Council from the scheme’s inception well over a decade ago.

Jamie’s extensive experience of development work enables him to advise on acquisition, compulsory purchase, environmental, disposal, funding, joint venture, letting, planning and site assembly aspects.
