Jenny is an experienced corporate lawyer, which means that she advises companies through periods of change and helps them to achieve their business goals.

Jenny undertakes a wide range of corporate and corporate finance work, including advising on buying and selling businesses, mergers and acquisitions, MBOs, MBAs, joint ventures and general company law.

She also advises both borrowers and lenders on lending and finance, and her clients include many of the household name banks.

Within these fields, Jenny has particular experience in the franchise, care home and pharmacy sectors, although her clients come in all shapes and sizes.

Jenny is a graduate of the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Law School and, having qualified as a solicitor in 2007, moved to Geldards in 2008. Hardworking, pragmatic and friendly, Jenny is always happy to go the extra mile for her clients.

Jenny is involved in musical theatre in her spare time, both as a performer and as a choreographer, and is a current member of the Beeston Musical Theatre Group.

"Jenny recently advised me on the sale of my franchise business. I've been working with Jenny for a few years, so I'm confident she knows the franchise sector very well.

"Dealing with a franchisor as well as a buyer can be tricky, as there is an extra set of concerns and personalities to take into account, but Jenny’s experience meant that she didn't just point out problems, but had the answers too.

"I have always found Jenny to be very professional, yet also easy and clear to talk with, even when under pressure to conclude a deal, with the added problems of deadlines and legal jargon.

"I would gladly use Jenny's help in the future, so therefore I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a franchise lawyer."
