Jonathan is a highly experienced lawyer and adviser helping private sector clients resolve commercial disputes and manage their exposure to contentious risk across a wide range of sectors, from engineering to retail, IT to sport, healthcare to transport.
A graduate of Manchester University and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Grande Ecole) in Strasbourg, France, Jonathan qualified in 1999 and joined Geldards in 2001.
He is ranked as a Leading Individual and Recommend Lawyer in Legal 500 UK 2019 for Dispute Resolution in the East Midlands and is joint head of the firm’s Automotive Sector team, handling claims for manufacturers and franchised or independent dealers nationwide.
Away from practice, Jonathan is a keen tennis player, enjoys foreign travel and plays the classical guitar to Grade 8 standard.
Jonathan lives in Derby with his wife Liz, a primary teacher, and student sons, Daniel and Joshua.
