Michael is a leading intellectual property lawyer, and advises clients in connection with all matters relating to patents, trade marks, designs, copyright, database rights and confidential information.

He has a particularly strong reputation in the field of IP dispute resolution.

A graduate of the University of Birmingham, Michael joined Geldards in 2003 after several years heading up the IP Practice of another leading regional law firm. He has specialised in IP law since 1992, and is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Michael is a keen cook and follower of sport, in particular test match cricket and association football (especially Portsmouth Football Club).
