Paul is an experienced commercial property lawyer who has been advising private as well as public sector clients on property matters for over 30 years. His clients have included major corporations in the retail, transport and aerospace sectors, as well as local authorities, universities, FE Colleges, academies and various third sector organisations. He has advised on major regeneration schemes and is part of our highly regarded Public Sector team. He also delivers lectures as part of Geldards’ contribution to the East Midlands Law Share and North West legal Consortium seminar programme.

Paul is experienced in advising on a wide range of property matters including regeneration schemes as well as numerous sales, purchases and leasehold transactions. He advises landowners in connection with options and overage sales to developers and has acted on many significant projects for local government clients over the years. These included the regeneration of the 186 acre brownfield site at Pride Park and the town centre regeneration scheme at Becketwell in Derby. He has led property teams carrying out due diligence for a range of large and complex sites including the purchase of a seaport and the acquisition of sites for a major government department.
