PAUL HOPKINS



Paul is head of the Commercial Dispute Resolution team in Cardiff and has particular expertise in handling high value, large and complex cases.

Paul graduated from University College, Oxford in 1984. He trained with Slaughter and May in the City of London where he qualified as a solicitor in 1987. He joined Geldards in 1988 and became a partner in 1992.

He is an accredited CEDR mediator and is also the firm’s International Services Partner.

Paul is a Member of the Institute of Directors and the International Bar Association. He is also Junior Vice President of Cardiff and District Law Society and a director of Go Debt Limited, Engagesport LLP and Wales International Business Council. He also sits on the legal committee for the Welsh Centre for International Affairs.

Paul lives in Radyr, near Cardiff with his wife Gill and daughter Seren. He is a massive rugby, football and ice hockey fan. He is also a keen golfer and skier and is into classic and progressive rock music.
