Rhys is a pragmatic, client-focused and responsive solicitor working within the firm’s Dispute Resolution team in Cardiff.

A graduate of Cardiff University, Rhys graduated from his LLB studies with a 2:1 and completed his LPC on a part-time basis in 2018, graduating with a Distinction and was awarded for obtaining the highest mark in his year in the Civil and Criminal Litigation module.

Rhys trained with Geldards and qualified into the Dispute Resolution team in April 2020. His training contract consisted of seats in the firm’s Infrastructure and Construction, Commercial Property and Dispute Resolution teams. Before joining the firm, Rhys spent almost five years as a paralegal with a South Wales Local Authority within its Childcare Legal Department, dealing with contentious child protection matters.

Rhys is an avid rugby fan and has followed Neath RFC since 1997. Outside of work, Rhys enjoys spending his time watching sport and travelling the country visiting real ale and food festivals. Rhys lives in Cardiff with his partner Ally.
