Ruth is a Senior Associate in the Business Recovery and Insolvency team at Geldards, dealing with contentious and non-contentious corporate and personal insolvency.

Ruth obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at Nottingham Law School, qualifying as a solicitor in September 2007. Her main areas of work include advising Insolvency Practitioners on all aspects of insolvency, pursuing and defending applications in relation to antecedent transactions and wrongful/fraudulent trading, asset recovery and preservation, advising individuals and companies in financial difficulties, and advising directors on their duties and responsibilities.

Ruth is an Associate member of R3 and sits on the committee of the East Midlands Women’s Group.
