Vicarious liability cases have made uncomfortable reading for employers for some time now. Employers are increasingly responsible, it seems, for the actions of their employees however extreme they may be. Recent cases have seen employers held accountable where their employees have committed serious assault, caused personal injury or perpetrated a serious data protection breach.

In our spring employment seminar the Geldards employment team will look at how the scope of vicarious liability has developed in recent years and the practical measures employers can take to limit their exposure when employees “go rogue”.

We’ll also be providing you with a comprehensive update on recent and up and coming developments in employment law, including the government’s Good Work Plan, pay ratio reporting, itemised pay statements and cases of note.

Feedback received from our last seminar:

"Very topical & helpful"

'Excellent content, ideal duration, great venue ‐ easily accessible, great delivery'

We look forward to seeing you there.
