Schedule 3 of the Flood and Water Management 2010, which introduced an entirely new regime for dealing with Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) on new developments in Wales, has now been in force for over eighteen months. If you develop in Wales, it is highly likely that you will have encountered this legislation and will be well aware of the uncertainties and challenges associated with it.
Join us on Wednesday 1st July 2020 at 11:00am for a webinar in which our property and planning specialists will discuss recent legal updates to the SuDs legislation in Wales, and will reflect on some of their experiences in navigating and applying the legislation to developments in Wales (including their work on a SuDs adoption agreement). They will also be joined by:
Jon Hurley, a Director at Asbri Planning who will discuss experiences to date in dealing with SuDs through the planning process; and
David Leak, a Senior Engineer at Arup who will discuss the engineering implications of the implementation of Schedule 3 on developments.
This webinar will be suitable for developers and housing associations in Wales. Please feel free to forward our invitation to any colleagues you feel would be interested.
