Geldards advises Cullum Group on the acquisition of Thermofuse Pipelines Ltd

Geldards has successfully advised Cullum Group, a Derbyshire-based engineering business, on the acquisition of specialist pipeline contractor Thermofuse Pipelines.

With a long heritage dating back to 1898, the Cullum Group now comprises six trading subsidiaries, which operate across the UK and the USA. Delivering bespoke engineering solutions across sectors such as aerospace, automotive, energy, utility, and healthcare, their key clients include Rolls-Royce, Severn Trent, National Gas and the NHS.

Based in Doncaster, Thermofuse Pipelines is a market-leading pipeline contractor established in 1995. The business specialises in the fabrication and installation of polyethylene pipelines for gas, water and fire protection projects across the UK. The acquisition of Thermofuse Pipelines forms part of Cullum Group’s continuing growth strategy, bolstering its existing water and industrial infrastructure capabilities.

Geldards provided legal advice to Cullum Group throughout the acquisition, drawing on expertise from colleagues across the firm to deliver a full-service, integrated approach. The team was led by Corporate Partner Peter Seary, with support from Manjot Shokar (Corporate), Sophie Taylor (Corporate), Caroline Findlay (Commercial Property), Andrew Evans (Tax), and Sue Jennings (Employment).
