We are one of the oldest law firms in Wales and have been committed for many years to providing our services in Welsh.
We have Welsh speaking lawyers across the firm who advise many clients in Welsh, including: the Welsh Government, the Welsh Language Commissioner, the National Library of Wales, the National Museum, S4C, Arts Council of Wales and Hybu Cig Cymru, as well as many Welsh local authorities. All of our Welsh speakers display the ‘Iaith Gwaith’ symbol next to their names on our website.
We are happy to adapt our Welsh services to you – if you only want a chat in Welsh, prefer to correspond in Welsh, or do everything in Welsh from start to finish, we are able to wholly support you. We are active participants in the Welsh Language Commissioner’s scheme to encourage and improve the use of Welsh in the workplace.
Many of our clients are governed by the Welsh Language Standards, so we understand how to ensure your ongoing compliance with these.
We have a team of Welsh Language Champions who promote the Welsh language and Welsh culture across the firm. Recent initiatives have included the provision of Welsh lessons to all non-Welsh speakers.
