Phil is a solicitor in the firm’s Commercial Dispute Resolution team in the East Midlands, where he assists with a variety of contentious matters. His experience includes advising on commercial litigation (such as breach of contract claims), debt recovery, and automotive disputes.
After joining Geldards as a trainee solicitor in 2023, Phil completed training seats in Public Sector Property, Commercial Dispute Resolution, Corporate/Commercial, and Employment, before returning to the Commercial Dispute Resolution team to qualify as a solicitor in September 2025.
Prior to joining the firm, Phil worked for several years as a forensic scientist in Greater London, having graduated from Bournemouth University with a first-class undergraduate degree in forensic science and a postgraduate degree in forensic toxicology.
Between 2021 and 2023, Phil completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Nottingham, achieving a Distinction in both.
