Following the successful completion of his two-year training contract with Geldards, Ramyar qualified into the Employment Law Team in November 2020.
Ramyar has assisted the team with and individually advised on complex HR and Employment Law issues such as disciplinary and grievance matters, contract reviews, policy drafting and reviews, restructuring and redundancy, discrimination issues and performance management.
Ramyar has also assisted clients with complex tribunal litigation, advising on every stage of the tribunal process on a variety of claims from unfair dismissal to complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims.
As a member of the Geldards Business Immigration Team, which sits within the Employment Team, Ramyar provides bespoke advice to clients on a variety of business immigration issues, such as right to work checks, obtaining a sponsor licence, various visa routes, ongoing obligations of a sponsor, and the allocation of certificates of sponsorship.
Ramyar also delivers bespoke training sessions to clients and HR professionals on a variety of employment law and HR issues.
Ramyar is a fluent Kurdish speaker and a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
