Our Public Sector Wales team highlight key provisions of the new regime of which public authorities should be aware.
Background
The UK’s new regime regulating subsidy control will come fully into effect from 4 January 2023. This will allow public authorities to grant subsidies to enterprises if they comply with principles set out in the Subsidy Control Act 2022.
Public authorities will be subject to transparency obligations when they award subsidies.
