Geldards Advise Derby City Council On New Sports Village

Geldards’ Midlands-based Construction team have successfully advised Derby City Council on the contract for the construction of the new Moorways Sports Village, a comprehensive sports and leisure destination in Derby.

The Sports Village will consist of a new 50m pool that can be transformed into three separate pools for different activities at the same time, including a separate learner pool which will be an excellent environment for swimmers of all ages to have lessons. The Sports Village will also boast a water park with two four storey flumes along with England’s first wave generating wow ball and wave rider slide, as well as a soft play area alongside a comprehensive health and fitness offering and café.
