Geldards advises Clowes on new build at Stud Brook Business Park
Geldards has successfully advised Clowes Developments on a long-term letting to global manufacturer Argon Medical Devices, the first tenant to move into Stud Brook Business Park.
Conveniently located close to Castle Donington bypass and East Midlands Airport, the new 20 acre mixed-use Business Park delivers excellent transport links and offers a range of BREEAM certified industrial and distribution units for SMEs ranging from 8,500 to 30,000 sq ft.
Argon Medical Devices serves a global network of hospitals, clinics and medical facilities supplying innovative medical devices to over 114 different countries and employs over one thousand people worldwide. In a move to expand international operations, Argon was attracted to Stud Brook Business Park for its excellent transport infrastructure and quality design and environmental sustainability.
Argon Medical Devices is now ready to move into the first unit on the site to achieve practical completion by lead contractor TanRo, a 20,000 sq ft new build achieving an EPC rating of ‘A’ and a BREEAM rating of ‘excellent’. The new unit is currently being fitted out to incorporate a two-storey office, laboratory accommodation and welfare facilities.
Geldards advised Clowes on the build agreement for lease, led by Derby based partner Heather Dixon, who heads up the industrial and logistics team, supported by construction partner Chris Hawrylak.
