Geldards appointed to Kent County Council’s KCS Procurement Services Legal Framework
Leading national law firm Geldards has been successfully appointed to Kent County Council’s wholly owned Commercial Services Group’s innovative framework of legal service providers.
In a 4-year partnership set to be worth up to £250m, this new and ambitious full-service framework is aimed at providing fully accessible expert legal support to all public bodies and/or organisations designated as having to abide by UK Public Regulations.
In addition to competitive rates for legal support, the framework will strengthen the professional services sector both in Kent and further afield, as well as delivering a range of social value projects to support young people, communities, and businesses.
Geldards are one of 19 top law firms to be appointed to the multi-disciplinary panel, proof of the substantial growth of their public sector team into a truly nationwide practise.
Commenting on the appointment to the panel, Jeff Pearson, Chief Executive, commented:
“Geldards is delighted to have been appointed to this dynamic framework, and are proud to play a part in these ambitious plans. Our expert team bring a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience to the panel, and we hope to have the opportunity to build relationships with many new clients as a result of our appointment”.
