Geldards’ litigation team tops Business Today’s top 10 influential litigators in Wales
Business Today has named three Geldards litigators in its recently published ‘Top 10 Influential Litigation Lawyers’ who are shaping Wales’ legal landscape this year.
The list highlights leading lawyers who stand out in the competitive litigation marketplace in Wales and are known for their technical excellence in dealing with complex litigation matters, as well as making a significant contribution to the legal field.
Geldards Partners Paul Hopkins, Michael Evans and Jonathan Griffiths were all named on the top 10 Business Today list based on their “experience, industriousness, and commitment to excellence”.
Geldards commercial dispute resolution team is renowned for dealing with high-profile, complex, multi-party disputes acting for public sector clients including the Welsh Government and the NHS, as well as acting for large corporate clients across a variety of sectors such as Admiral Group, Celsa and Pendragon.
Paul Hopkins who heads up the litigation team is commended as a “distinct expert in complex commercial litigation who diligently handles cases involved with contractual, shareholder and civil fraud disputes.” While Michael Evans’ “analytical and problem-solving skills make him a respected figure in the field of litigious matters arising from contract disputes and company and competition law.” Jonathan Griffiths stands out for his “strong reputation with his wide-ranging litigation practice focussing on commercial disputes in the public sector.”
