Geldards Strengthens Across The Board In Legal 500

National law firm Geldards has once again been recognised as a leading law firm in the latest Legal 500 directory rankings.

In the 2020 results, Geldards has strengthened its performance across all areas with 32 teams recognised, half of these in the top tier representing a 25% increase during the year.

Whilst maintaining a strong performance in core practice areas, significant improvements were also made in the construction, sport, charity and public sector teams.

21 of the firm’s lawyers have been named as ‘Leading Individuals’ with 5 of these also recognised in the ‘Hall of Fame’. A further 6 were named as ‘Next Generation Partners’ and 7 more cited as ‘Rising Stars’.

Other notable performances include;

The Corporate and Commercial team retained its tier 1 status and described as having a ‘particularly strong and growing reputation’ and a ‘sizeable following of domestic and international clients’.

The Commercial Litigation team is recognised as ‘one of the strongest firms’ and maintains its nationwide tier 1 status.

The Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate team kept their tier 1 status being described as a ‘very professional’ team, which ‘thinks outside of the box’ and has ‘demonstrable knowledge and experience of dealing with the complex needs of private clients’.

The ‘very strong’ Commercial Property team are described by clients as having a ‘clear and distinct high level of professionalism’ and being ‘a real pleasure to work with’.
