Geldards successfully advise Admiral on Cardiff property move
Geldards has successfully advised FTSE 100 group Admiral on a deal which sees them vacating their premises in Cardiff’s Capital Quarter and handing over the reins to BT Group.
The move by BT Group is part of a multi-million pound investment in Cardiff to create a hub in the Capital Quarter for over 900 employees, who will move in by the end of 2022. The offices provide employees with flexible work spaces and the latest smart building technology and the move will mean a significant presence for the company in the Welsh capital.
Ioan Owen, Partner in Geldards’ Commercial Property team led on the deal advising Admiral, supported by Andrew Evans, Tax Partner, Claire Laviers, Senior Associate in the Infrastructure and Construction team and Georgia Evans, Solicitor in the Commercial Property team.
