Madeleine is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team advising national and regional businesses, public bodies and third sector clients. She has experience working on large, high-value multi-party commercial disputes and regularly advises on international disputes and cross-border enforcement. She also advises on public sector litigation including judicial review, statutory challenges and procurement and frequently advises insolvency practitioners, creditors, debtors and other interested parties on issues of insolvency and corporate recovery.
Madeleine advises clients all aspects of litigation including breach of contract, professional negligence, shareholder disputes, judicial review, competition claims and insolvency. She helps clients resolve disputes whether they arise from the breakdown of a professional relationship, breach of contract or otherwise. She has particular experience advising company directors on the fulfilment of their professional duties and shareholders on protection against unfair prejudice. Madeleine has experience of resolving disputes using alternative means, including both virtual and in-person mediation.
