Marie is a Solicitor in the Charities Team in the firm’s Cardiff office. She joined the firm in September 2019 as a paralegal in Property Litigation before starting her training contract in September 2020. She qualified into the Charities Team in March 2022.
Marie works with a wide range of not-for-profit organisations assisting with both governance and property matters. She guides charities through the process of incorporating as CIOs and charitable companies, mergers between charities and the purchase and sale of property, as well as providing other charity law advice that a charity may need.
Marie has a joint-honours degree in Law and French from Cardiff University. During her year abroad in Nantes, she obtained the French law degree (Licence en Droit français). Marie is also fluent in French and has assisted with matters with French clients.
