Rhys is experienced in advising and assisting on cases involving private, public and third sector clients (both UK-based and international). Cases include a range of contentious commercial matters including; director and shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, general contractual disputes, intellectual property disputes, competition law disputes and general insolvency and debt recovery matters. Rhys is experienced in working on multi-jurisdictional matters and cases where parties to the dispute are situated in various countries.
Rhys is experienced at undertaking work at all stages of the litigation process including pre-action correspondence, disclosure (including under the new Disclosure Pilot Scheme), drafting witness statements, Court applications and liaising with Counsel. He is also experienced in drafting applications and the relevant documents for administration proceedings and drafting and reviewing documents and correspondence in debt recovery proceedings, Freezing Injunction applications and intellectual property disputes. Rhys also assists clients with swearing documents.
