His wealth of experience includes freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals (including auction properties) together with providing advice in relation to corporate transactions and secured lending. Stuart has a particular interest in acting for developers in connection with all aspects of development work.
Stuart is an extremely experienced landlord and tenant lawyer who provides advice to both landlords and tenants in relation to complex lease agreements. His experience covers a wide range of issues (lease renewals, rent deposits, variations, surrenders and agreements for lease). Stuart is also part of the leadership team for the retail lease renewals team providing advice for large national retailers. Stuart has a particular interest in development work for both residential and commercial sites from site acquisition, site assembly to disposal. Stuart regularly provides support and advice in relation to corporate transactions and acting for lenders in all aspects of secured lending.
