Sue is a Senior Associate in the Employment Team in the East Midlands with over 20 years’ knowledge and experience of all aspects of employment law. Sue excels at providing clear, strategic and solution focused advice on complex HR matters with experience across both the private and public sector.
Sue adopts a highly collaborative approach to support clients in achieving the best possible outcome in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Her areas of expertise include HR issues such as performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, managing business restructure, TUPE, redundancy and dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. She is highly experienced in resolving disputes and dealing with all matters relating to contracts of employment and policies and procedure.
Renowned for delivering clear, practical training, Sue provides bespoke sessions on understanding and handling tricky employment and HR issues and helping organisations prepare for upcoming changes in the law.
Sue is the Under Sheriff of Derbyshire, providing guidance and support to the Office of the High Sheriff of Derbyshire.
