Geldards has been committed for many years to providing advice in Welsh. The Firm was established in Merthyr in the early years of the 19th Century and we opened our first office in Cardiff in Mount Stuart Square in 1854. We are one of the oldest legal firms in Wales and we advise many leading companies and national organisations.

We have Welsh speaking lawyers in most legal fields in our Cardiff Office and they advise many well known clients, particularly the Welsh Government, the National Library of Wales, the National Museum ofS4C, Arts Council of Wales and Hybu Cig Cymru/Meat Promotion Wales, as well as most of the Welsh local authorities.

We can adapt our Welsh medium services to meet your requirements – if you only want a chat in Welsh or prefer to correspond in Welsh or to carry out a matter in Welsh from start to finish, we are able to do so.

We frequently review Welsh translations of English legal documents and we frequently work with external translation agencies in order to provide an efficient and reasonably price service.
