Amy is a Senior Associate in the Corporate Claims team and has specialised in defendant personal injury claims since 2013.
She defends public and employer liability claims on behalf of insurers, devolved government, local authorities and public bodies, charities and large corporates. Her practice encompasses injury claims (ranging from slips/trips through to catastrophic injury and death) and occupational disease claims (including asbestos related diseases, occupational deafness, cancers, vibration white finger, and dermatitis) and representing clients at inquests.
She also advises on risk management and policy and undertakes insurance and corporate archaeology, claims audits and internal investigations.
Amy joined Geldards LLP as a Paralegal in 2014 and completed her legal training within the Corporate Claims team. During her time at Geldards, Amy has specialised in injury litigation including acting on behalf of the victims of medical negligence. Before joining Geldards, she was a paralegal at DAC Beachcroft in Birmingham and Stewarts Law in London.
