In this webinar our Employment team will look at sexual harassment including issues surrounding the new duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace due to come into force on 26 October 2024. It will require employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of their employees in the course of their employment.
Our team will be discussing what the new duty will mean in practice and whether this provides employees with broader protection than the current legislation. We will explain the compensation regime under the new law and most importantly consider how employers can prepare for the introduction of the new duty.
We will also provide a general employment law update taking a look at proposed statutory changes and notable and interesting employment cases over the last year.
