Geldards celebrates Legal 500 success
Geldards is once again celebrating after being recognised as a leading law firm in the latest Legal 500 directory rankings.
In the 2023 results published this week, “stratospherically brilliant” Geldards once again maintained a strong position with 32 teams recognised, 14 of which are ranked ‘Top Tier’ and 18 at ‘Leading Firm’ status.
Whilst maintaining a solid performance in core practice areas, significant improvements were also made in the growing Public Sector teams. They are described as having “incredible strength and breadth” with a “great range and depth of knowledge and skills”.
A significant 25 of the firm’s lawyers are ranked as ‘Leading Individuals’, with 5 of these gaining entry to the elite ‘Hall of Fame’. Of particular note is the increase in the 10 up-and-coming Associates identified as ‘Rising Stars’ as well as the 6 individuals cited as ‘Next Generation Partners’.

The Commercial Litigation team is recognised as “an excellent choice for complex commercial litigation” and maintains its nationwide tier 1 status.
The Private Client & Family teams keep their tier 1 status, being praised for being “well respected across the country”, “the go-to solicitors for high-net-worth individuals going through a divorce” and “a powerhouse of energy, strategy and legal knowledge”.
The “exceptional” Commercial Property team are described by clients as “taking the time to understand not only our business but the political context we operate in – they demonstrate an interest over and above the requirement of the direct service engaged”.
The top ranked IT & Telecoms team is noted as being “brilliant – their legal knowledge, experience and negotiation style always gives us an amazing advantage over our opponents – miles ahead of most others locally and nationally”.
