Geldards celebrates Legal 500 success across the firm

Geldards has cause for celebration as it has been recognised for another year as a leading law firm in the latest Legal 500 directory rankings.

In the 2022 results, Geldards has once again maintained a strong position with 32 teams recognised, 14 of which are ranked ‘Top Tier’, and 18 at ‘Leading Firm’ status.

Whilst maintaining a strong performance in core practice areas, significant improvements were also made in the growing Family and Banking & Finance teams. The latter being described as “fantastic, and always there to help where needed”.

A significant 51 of the firm’s lawyers have been ‘Recommended’, with 26 of these gaining entry to the elite ‘Leading Individuals’ ranking. Of particular note is the increase in the 8 up-and-coming Associates identified as ‘Rising Stars’, as well as the 5 individuals cited as ‘Next Generation Partners’.

Other notable performances include;
The Commercial Litigation team is recognised as a “Solidly competent multi-disciplinary team” and maintains its nationwide tier 1 status.

The Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate team kept their tier 1 status being praised for its “joined-up thinking” and delivery of effective strategies. One client advised that “The team’s biggest strengths has to be its professionalism, knowledge and communication skills. I’ve dealt with the team for a considerable number of years now and have never found them anything less than perfect to deal with”.

The “professional and personable” Commercial Property team are described by clients having “personal attention and commitment along with a sense of commercial reality.”

The top ranked IT & Telecoms team is noted as being a “down to earth with a commercial approach unlike I have witnessed in other law firms”.
