Geldards’ Commercial team is boosted by senior appointment

Leading law firm Geldards has continued to grow its’ renowned Commercial Contracts team with the appointment of Senior Associate Saima Shabir.

Joining the firm’s Derby office, Saima is an experienced commercial contracts and data protection lawyer.  As well as advising clients on all aspects of contractual work, she specialises in data protection issues, working with businesses and schools to ensure they are compliant with this rapidly evolving and sensitive area of law.

Saima has worked with a range of prominent companies both regionally and nationally, as well as being seconded to provide in-house legal advice to a leading international supply company. She is further experienced in working closely with many schools, academies and MATs, supporting them with their data protection and contractual issues.

Saima joins from Flint Bishop where she completed her training contract, and worked for over five years following qualification.
